Start Configuring

If this is the first time you’ve opened the My Church section of the Baptist NZ app, please follow these instructions:

  1. Install the Baptist NZ App from your App Store or Play Store.
  2. Select ‘My Church’ on the bottom menu.
  3. Search for your church. It will appear once our team have setup your initial account.
  4. The church you have selected will remain the default for you, even as you navigate to and from the Baptist NZ environment. This can be reset by going to ‘Settings’.
  5. As you update your app using the instructions in these next steps, force close the app, re-open it and it will refresh to show you your updates.

Device Day: Launching your app

Once your app is ready, make sure you launch it strongly to your church!

We recommend a ‘Device Day’ to help everyone get the app installed while you’re together

Here’s How:

  • Download launch slides and launch video,
  • Plan some time in your announcements to explain to everyone how to install your app,
  • Offer assistance afterwards to anyone who struggled following your instructions.
