Step Six: Add your newsletter
Reduce printing and cut through email clutter by delivering your newsletter directly to your congregation’s phone, complete with a Push Notification so they know it is there.
This puts a button right in your app, integrated with your current system for newsletters.

To get started, find out what method you currently use to distribute your newsletter:
Not only can this feature be used for newsletters, but also other key documents you may like to publish – a prayer guide, welcome information etc.
- Once your usual document preparation is complete, prepare a PDF file by opening your Word Document, and printing it to PDF,
- Login to the EzyStream Dashboard (https://admin.ezystream.com),
- Select ‘Content’ in the top blue navigation menu
- Select ‘Links‘
- Select the PDFs tab
- Toggle ‘on’ the first PDF in the list
- Enter the name you’d like to give the menu item in your app (eg. ‘Newsletter’).
- Click the (+) plus Icon and select your PDF file.
- Decide if you’d like a notification to be delivered to your users and customise the notification message.
- Click ‘Save’
- Once you’ve created your normal email and sent it, find the Public URL of your newsletter:
- Finding your latest newsletter email in your mailbox
- Click ‘View this email in my browser’
NB: If you can’t see this text, ensure that it is included in your MailChimp template. - Copy the URL from your web browser
- Login to the EzyStream Dashboard (https://admin.ezystream.com),
- Select ‘Content’ in the top blue navigation menu
- Select ‘Links‘
- Select the ‘Embedded Websites’ tab
- Toggle ‘on’ the first Web Embed Link in the list
- Enter the name/title you’d like to give the menu item in your app (eg. ‘Newsletter’).
- Paste the URL you copied in step 1.
- Click ‘Save’
- Send a Notification. Follow the steps in Notifications to send a notification like normal, to tell your community the newsletter is now available.
- Create a simple word document with the content you wish to publish in your app. When it’s finished, prepare a PDF file by opening your Word Document, and printing it to PDF.

- Select ‘Content’ in the top blue navigation menu
- Select ‘Links‘
- Select the PDFs tab
- Toggle ‘on’ the first PDF in the list
- Enter the name you’d like to give the menu item in your app (eg. ‘Newsletter’).
- Click the (+) Plus icon and select your PDF file.
- Decide if you’d like a notification to be delivered to your users and customise the notification message.
- Click ‘Save’
