At Finlay Park you could be working with a wide variety of groups and schools, running activities from easy and low risk to complex and high risk. Activities such as axe throwing, paddle boarding, climbing, but also barge skipper and ski boat driver. And if you aren’t working with a group you will be developing your skills in maintenance and tool use.

Finlay Park Trust is a registered charitable trust under the trading name Finlay Park Adventure Camp. It is owned by the Waikato Baptist Association. Finlay Park is located at the end of Finlay Rd, on the shores of Lake Karapiro, in the heart of the Waikato. It was established in 1949 by the Waikato Baptist Churches to provide a place for people to come and experience God’s creation. It operates 365 days of the year. The primary operating area is at Finlay Park, 110 and 117 Finlay Rd, Cambridge.

With the best location for camping in New Zealand, Finlay Park specialises in children, children’s ministry and outdoor activities which, at the heart of it, are fun and exciting.

This is a full-time position, with a busy season from August until May. With a down period of June – start of August.
