About this role

Part-time 24 hrs per week – 3 days equivalent

We are a small charismatic church in the heart of the Waikato, looking for a wise and passionate follower of Jesus to shepherd us into the next exciting stage of our journey with God. We have a high value for the prophetic, for the ministry of the word and of the Spirit, for community, and for the freedom found in God’s love. Our congregation is a mix of established and new believers from every social sector, ranging in age from toddlers to senior citizens. Members are actively involved in a number of ongoing groups and ministries including Children’s Church, Youth group, prayer and study groups, worship and food bank.

Te Aroha is a friendly community, in a stunning natural setting, with good schools and a mix of businesses. Farming remains the backbone of the town’s economy.

We are looking for a pastor strongly established in love, who is able to lead, guide and communicate God’s vision, as we fulfil our commission to see His kingdom transform our town.

We regret we cannot currently consider overseas or non-NZ residents.
