We are seeking an experienced person who will have a clear call from God to be our Lead Pastor, to be the key visionary leader of the church and the pastoral leadership team, and be an integral member of the governance body, i.e. The Elders’ Board.

This person will:

• be a gifted biblical teacher
• have a passion for God’s word and prayer
• be a collaborative and strategic leader
• be able to provide oversight and support of Staff and Ministry Team Leaders
• be accountable to the Elders’ Board for all Church ministries
• have Core theological and missional beliefs that align with those of DCBC
• have an understanding of Baptist protocols, policies, standards and practices
• have suitable training consistent with the requirements for Baptist registration
• be a New Zealand citizen or have New Zealand residency
