Isaiah 50: 4-9. Mission, Obedience, Suffering, Confidence.

This is the second in our series of Isaiah’s Servant Songs. We’re looking at Isaiah and the coming of Jesus as we head into Easter. Here in Isaiah 49 we see that God is the one who saves; and that for those of us who are Christians, we can often doubt God’s love. Isaiah points us to the ultimate love of God displayed in Jesus at the cross.

Jesus God of the Universe and Judge of the Nations Yet he will care for the bruised reed and will encourage those with just a flickering flame.
