Throughout Aotearoa New Zealand there are more than 250 Baptist faith communities (local churches), as well as a few overseas that include New Zealanders.
In the 2018 New Zealand Census 39,030 people ticked ‘Baptist’ as their religious affiliation – that’s where we get the idea of our ‘Team of 40,000’.
In the map below you can look for a Baptist church or faith community near you, and contact them directly. You will be able to find out what Sunday services and other events they have, and how they serve people in their local communities, such as programmes and groups for children, teenage youth groups, older people, op shops, etc.
