Continuing in our 1 Timothy series, all about the Church, we see from 1 Timothy 3:1-13 that Christian leadership is essential for the health and mission of God's church. It's about call, competence and character

1) Christ came into the world to save sinners. If you are a sinner, turn to Jesus Christ and you will be overwhelmed with grace and mercy. 2) Sound doctrine is crucial. Dont dismiss it. Dwell in it. Love it.

We start our new series in 1 Timothy, all about the church ? the mission of the church is that God our Saviour? wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. It?s this passion that God calls us to participate in, and part of that is discerning between false and sound doctrine, just like in Timothy?s day.
