As our Youth Leader/Pastor, you will:

• Provide visionary leadership for our active Youth Ministry.
• Develop and grow Church Youth connections within the local high school and other para-church organisations in our community.
• Pave the way for building strong ties with the Youth in our expanding community.
• Be a key part of our NextGen team and help integrate our High School Youth with that group and the wider church.

The ideal candidate will:

• Bring valuable experience in Youth Ministry to the table.
• Possess theological training (do not have to have a degree)
• Be strong in their Christian faith and character.
• Showcase great networking skills.
• Communicate and share your faith with Youth and help them grow in relationship with Jesus.
• Embrace a team-player mindset and work well with Church leadership.
• Exhibit a strong desire to grow as a Christian leader.
• Provide a fun and safe environment for local Youth.
• Have good organisational skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Be willing to invest in, build up and develop Youth leaders, including our Youth.
• Be enthusiastic about expanding your ministry skills in alignment with your unique gifts.
• Currently, reside and be eligible to work in New Zealand (Citizen or Permanent Residency).
