The chief role is preaching/reaching/shepherding, including preaching at Sunday services, with the aim of building up the body of Christ, supporting vibrant ministries already present within the church, and with a heart for the future. It is preferred that the incoming pastor has some experience in the role, perhaps as an assistant pastor or practicums.
