Wilson Street Baptist Church (in Timaru), is a multi-generational, family friendly church with a growing number of youth & kids. We are seeking a part-time youth leader/worker (or couple) who will build relationships with our intermediate & high school aged youth + who will help to grow this critical ministry within our church. At this stage, we are envisaging 8-15 hours per week (negotiable) with WSBC Youth.

An ideal candidate for this role will:

• have a passionate & contagious love for Jesus
• be gifted at building relationships with youth
• be someone who can work with & build up a team
• be eager to support the development of young people’s faith
• enjoy coordinating regular youth nights & events
• become involved in our wider church family & life

Beyond this (if you are looking for more hours), we are also keenly aware of the current need for more part-time 24/7 Youth workers in our local schools, and we would love to be able to support the right candidate to be involved in this work as well.
