Are you passionate about inspiring and guiding the next generation? Darfield Baptist Church, nestled in the heart of a thriving and rapidly growing town just a short commute from Christchurch, is seeking a vibrant and dedicated individual to fill the role of part-time Youth Pastor. The role is for 30 hours a week, however other youth work within our wider community may be possible dependent on the skills of the applicant.
As our Youth Pastor, you will:
- Provide visionary leadership for our dynamic Youth Ministry.
- Develop and grow church youth connections within the local high school.
- Pave the way for building strong ties with the youth in our expanding community.
The ideal candidate will:
- Bring valuable experience in youth ministry to the table.
- Possess theological training and be strong in their Christian faith and character.
- Showcase great networking skills.
- Communicate and share their faith with youth and help them growin relationship with Jesus.
- Embrace a team-player mindset and work well with church leadership.
- Exhibit a strong desire to grow as a Christian leader.
- Provide a fun and safe environment for local youth.
- Be enthusiastic about expanding your ministry skills in alignment with your unique gifts.
- Currently, reside and be eligible to work in New Zealand (Citizen or Permanent Residency).
