We are looking for a youth pastor or youth worker/kaimahi taiohi to join our staff team and collaboratively lead the youth/rangatahi ministry in our church community. Their core purpose will be developing healthy relationships with youth, staff, parents and caregivers, and the wider church community, creating a safe and loving environment, and supporting the youth to live out the way of Christ in all their spheres of life. Applicants need to have had some experience in shaping church-based youth ministry, and be comfortable working within a community which is inclusive of Rainbow youth. They will have some training in youth work and have developed foundational attributes and skills necessary for this work. They will also need to be comfortable working and journeying in a church community that is broadly progressive in its approach to Christian faith, mission and pastoral practice.
